Grants
Grants from the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain support organizations and programs benefiting the residents of Berlin, New Britain, Plainville and Southington. We make grants across a broad range of fields, including:
• Arts, Culture and Heritage
• Community and Economic Development
• Early Childhood Development
• Education
• Health and Human Services
We make grants to nonprofit organizations qualified for tax-exempt status under the IRS Code. We will consider funding a grassroots group if it consists of at least five people and has a governing body and fiscal agent with the appropriate tax status.
